These presentations examine the key technological achievements that led to the development of the modern skyscraper in its formative years, through the vehicle of discussing individual technologies deployed throughout tall buildings, as well as by proposing several individual buildings as the apotheosis of a given set of technological developments. The merits of all were considered in the final panel.
