Abstract Submission

Please note the abstract submission deadline of 30 January has now passed. Abstracts submitted late will be considered, but date of submission will be an influencing factor in the abstract review process. Each year we are significantly over-subscribed with high-quality abstracts from CTBUH members around the world, and unfortunately we must disappoint many colleagues who want to present at the event. We thus have to take into consideration the timing of submitted abstracts. You can see this and other reasons abstracts are included/rejected here.

Submission Deadline: 30 January 2019

Abstracts are sought for presentations that fit within the overall Congress theme 50 Forward, 50 Back: The Recent History and Essential Future of Sustainable Cities (see full Congress synopsis).

CTBUH members1 of all disciplines interested in presenting at the event are now encouraged to complete the online abstract form by the 30 January 2019 deadline, showing how their proposed presentation will address the Congress theme and synopsis. Please note that competition for oral presentations at the Congress will be extremely high. All abstracts will be subject to rigorous review before acceptance into the conference program.

NOTES: Abstract submissions must be completed in English only. The best topics/abstracts will be invited to proceed into full papers, to be included in the formal Congress proceedings, which will form an important historical record.

1All presenters at the 2019 Congress must be CTBUH members at either the organizational or individual level. If interested in presenting at the Congress, then you must first become a member in order to submit an abstract.
